Girls Unlimited is a community based non-governmental organization that uses football as a tool for social development and empowerment of Women and girls.
Established in 2009 by Doreen Nabwire former Kenyan international who played at Mathare United Women FC, Werder Bremen FC, 1 FC Cologne, Dutch side FC Zwolle and also captained the KWNT.
Our objective is to promote gender equality by improving access to participation in sports for girls and women.

Our Objectives
Initiate programs and activities that mainstream gender issues in the communities of our geographical coverage, while addressing inequality, abuse amongst girls, women and children and the inclusion of children with special needs in sport.
Conduct research to identify the emerging needs of girls, advocate for the provision of their rights, and promote the values and principles of sport in effecting positive social change in the society, while lobbying for improved standards of the delivery of football activities at the grassroots level for girls and women.
Build the capacity of female coaches to enable them deliver quality regular sessions integrated with life skills.
Train and build the capacity of girls, women and children to make informed choices and decisions that will positively influence their lives to become responsible and useful citizens in their society.
Create safe spaces and make football accessible for girls, women and children to explore and expose their talents.
Build a strong communication, fundraising and resource mobilization strategy that will enable the continuity and sustainability of the organization and its activities.
Build meaningful collaborative partnerships with the communities of our geographical coverage as well as our funding partners and donors within the communities.
